  21.  ... seems never to release the ZIP version 2.0! In spite of many promises no
  22.  news about this version which was to be released a year ago and so the 1.10
  23.  must hold the castle for a while yet!

  25.  In spite of my admiration for ZIP 1.10 there must be some limits for how long
  26.  it can hold out while the competitors LHA and ARJ get better and better.
  27.  The solution of many to update to the ß-version 1.93a I understand even if I
  28.  don't have to like it !!!

  33.  through Apogee with KEEN's DREAMS and SPEAR of Destiny !!!!
  34.  One cannot help wonder if Apogee has lost one of it's firm bases ???

  39.  Commercial users should consult the docs for info about registration as Frisk
  40.  Software continues to translate the program into more and more native langua-
  41.  ges. After translation the COMMERCIAL use is not allowed for the english ver-
  42.  sion ... and the NSV version must be bought from the local distributor ...

  44.  (My personal fears about this ? ... that the program updates will be so expen-
  45.  sive that too many users will NOT update often enough ...

  53.  About vendor obligations and author requirements:

  55.  ... some authors sharpens their requirements for vendor distribution even if
  56.  I fail to see the reson why !? Of cause vendors are (almost) as different as
  57.  the authors but even I must admit that most vendors hold the shareware prin-
  58.  ciple high and that there are very few bad apples in the basket!

  60.  But if it in this case is connected with missing registrations THIS author
  61.  should do a couple of other things instead of blaming the vendors:

  63.  1. make a better program
  64.  2. make the program more affordable (lower prises)
  65.  3. make better PR for his application via the docs and program notices ...

  86.  I'll try to explain: in all my writings (catalogue, ShareWare-bladet etc.)
  87.  I of cause explain in general about the shareware principle, gives info about
  88.  how to register etc. and try to state the status of eah single program - but
  89.  the thousands of authors have NOT all defined shareware in exactly the same
  90.  way and dam...!

  92.  ... if I will print extra thousands of labels for each and one of almost 5000
  93.  applications with sometimes up to 10 different applications on a disk (besi-
  94.  des: wouldn't it look nice with 10 extra labels each with such different no-
  95.  tices ???

  97.  Prime example of an author who tries to unload his own obligation: notifying
  98.  upon how HE HIMSELF should inform the user of his program status. This ought
  99.  in my opinion be written directly in the docs ...

  101.  I have now been an ASP vendor for two year exactly for avoiding such time
  102.  waste as above requirements! Need I say that above program was NOT accepted
  103.  for distribution and that other programs from same author was removed from
  104.  my library immediately ...
